Colourful giant wooden top seating for the 7th Floor Playspace and Women and Children's entrance at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.Winning the Design Week Furniture Award 2014 — "It’s refreshing to see healthcare leaders and designers in such a serious sector prioritising play, imagination and user interaction in an otherwise stressful and high-pressured environment." — Judges from the Design Week awards.
"As a child my mother would take us to the Galt Toy Shop full of beautiful wooden toys I always wanted a hobby horse but was never bought one. When I was thinking about the seating in these hospital spaces my mind went back to those beautiful wooden toys and thought how wonderful it would be to make supersize versions. Sadly due to health and safety restrictions it was not possible to make the wooden tops spin but that did not deter the kids using the them to play on." says Morag
